Asparagus- How have I lived my whole life without you????

So about a year ago if that I was introduced to Asparagus for the first time by my cousin Christina.  Who may I add is one of the best cooks/bakers I know?  Its true.  Anyway.  She taught me how to make asparagus.  And I am not talking about boiling the life and nutrients out the yummy vegetable.

Christina's Asparagus

Asparagus
Lemon
Olive Oil (I like to use Olive oil Spray because I can control the amount better and its way less calories)
(However- I know that Olive Oil is considered a "good fat" so in moderation it can be great for your health!)
Salt and Pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Wash asparagus and hold each end and bend to break off the woody ends which you can discard.  Place on cookie sheet and spray with olive oil and squeeze lemon juice all over then sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.  Depending on thickness of asparagus cook for about 10 min. may need longer for thicker asparagus. (should be somewhat firm still but tender when poked with fork.) Enjoy!!

I like to make this asparagus which i buy at Costco and pick up some Panko Breaded Tilapia (Frozen) or a Rotisserie Chicken (no skin eaten).  YUMMY!!! Thanks Christina for the recipe!!
